Operational and Building Data
Laid Bethlehem Steel, Staten Island NY June 8 1945
Launched January 17 1946 and commissioned June 29 1946 by Miss Katherine K. Royal, the daughter of Admiral Royal.
Decommissioned on 27 March, 1971
She was pier side in Mayport and her colors were hauled down at 1030.
The last watch stander, OOD, was Ens. Peter G. Roberts.

March 27 1971, transferred to the government of Turkey for $153,000.
Renamed Adatepe.
Scrapped in 1993.
